Kazakhstan - in the context of international experience on the way to eliminate iodine deficiency

Iodine deficiency usually affects the vulnerable part of the population such as women of reproductive age and children. Therefore it is necessary to consolidate and put on a long-term, priority based on periodic monitoring of quality control universal salt iodization and iodine supply of the population, aimed at further elimination of iodine deficiency disorders. In this review article we have discussed and illustrated the experience of many countries on the way to the elimination of iodine deficiency by the introduction of universal salt iodization. About the necessity to raising the state structure for the promulgation of regulations, quality control on the production level of iodized salt.

Йододефицитные состояния затрагивают преимущественно уязвимую часть населения - женщин репродуктивного возраста и детей. По - этому необходимо закрепить и поставить на долгосрочную, приоритетную основу периодическое мониторирование контроля качества уни - версального йодирования соли, а также йодную обеспеченность населения, направленную на дальнейшую ликвидацию йододефицитных со - стояний.
В данной обзорной статье рассмотрен и показан опыт стран на пути к достижению полной элиминации йододефицита путем введения универсального йодирования соли. О необходимости привлечения государственной структуры для принятия нормативных актов, контроля качества на этапе производства йодированной соли
